Privacy and Communications

How to contact us appropriately.

Privacy-conscious communication

This website does not collect patient information through an online form. If you accept optional tracking, Google Analytics uses cookies to measure general website visits. We configure it to omit condition-specific page paths and titles, URL query strings, referrers, and contact details; advertising personalization and automatic enhanced measurement are disabled. Google still processes technical information necessary to provide Analytics. See how Google uses information from sites using its services. Your choice is stored in your browser. Reject optional tracking to keep Analytics off, or use Privacy choices to withdraw consent. This website is not a secure medical intake portal. Consent to analytics is not authorization to disclose protected health information.

Do not send sensitive health information by standard SMS. Contact the office for an approved secure method of sharing medical records.

Automated website assistant

Our automated website assistant provides prepared general information. Typed questions are processed only within the current page and are not transmitted to the practice or an AI service. The assistant does not save chat history, book appointments, or send messages to staff. Please do not enter personal details, symptoms, or medical records. Calling and texting buttons open your device’s phone or messaging app.

Website hosting and external services

This website is hosted by Vercel. Hosting and network providers process technical request information to deliver and operate the website. Read Vercel's privacy notice for information about its practices. Links to research publications and other websites take you to external services with their own privacy practices.

Your choices

You can browse the website without accepting optional Analytics. Use the Privacy choices button in the footer to change your selection. Your selection is saved locally in your browser; clearing browser storage may cause the consent banner to appear again. Withdrawing consent stops future Analytics collection from this website but does not automatically delete information previously processed by Google.

Text messaging information

Text 813-708-8346 for general scheduling questions. If you agree to receive practice messages, they may concern appointments or care coordination. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Call 813-708-8346 for messaging assistance or to request that texts stop. You can also reply STOP to request an opt-out. You can request scheduling help by phone instead of text.

Text messages are not a secure medical-records channel or an emergency service. Please do not send intimate symptoms, photographs, records, or other sensitive medical information by ordinary text. Ask the office for a secure method. Mobile contact information and messaging consent are not shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes; service providers may process information to deliver practice communications.

Calls, texts, and medical records

Calling or texting opens your device's telephone or messaging service. Information you choose to share is handled through those services and the practice's communication systems. Use ordinary text only for general scheduling inquiries. For records or medical details, ask the office for a secure communication method.

Please avoid sending medical histories, photos, or other sensitive health information by standard SMS.

Online appointment requests

When you choose to open our appointment request form, it loads from Google Forms and submits directly to our practice's Google Workspace account. We collect your contact information, visit preferences, physical location for telehealth eligibility, and optional referral information to coordinate scheduling. Authorized practice staff receive email notifications and use a restricted request log to follow up and record booking status.

Submitting a form does not confirm an appointment. Please do not include symptoms, medical histories, photographs, or medical records. Form entries are not sent to Google Analytics or used for advertising personalization. The Google-hosted form is separate from our optional website analytics and is subject to Google's applicable privacy information. If you prefer, call 813-708-8346 to request care.

Referral measurement

After analytics consent, approved referral links may send a fixed source code, such as domain_01, to help us measure which practice-owned domain brought a visit. We do not send the original domain label, medical page path, arbitrary query values, or contact information in this measurement.

Your right to a Good Faith Estimate

If you do not have health insurance or choose not to use it, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for medical items and services. Ask for an estimate when requesting or scheduling care. For services scheduled at least three business days in advance, an estimate generally must be provided before care; you can also request an estimate before scheduling.

If a bill from a provider is at least $400 more than that provider's estimate, you may be eligible for the federal patient-provider dispute resolution process. Keep a copy of your estimate and bill. Visit CMS information about Good Faith Estimates and billing disputes, or call our office at 813-708-8346 with questions about an estimate.
